Customer Service Representative
(Part Time Position)

Real Estate Institute seeks a part-time Customer Service Representative to provide in-person and over-the-phone support for our existing and prospective students. This part-time position is 24 to 28 hours per week.

Our customers work (or seek to begin work) in real estate, mortgage, insurance, and legal professions. We provide high-quality course programs and service. As a member of our customer service team, you’ll play an integral role in the growth and ongoing success of the company. In this role, you will be required to spend weeks of in-house training to understand the complex rules for obtaining and maintaining different licenses as well as becoming an expert on our products and services.

Event Facilitator
(Part Time Position)

Real Estate Institute seeks a part-time Event Facilitator to provide in-person support for adult students attending a class or proctored examination. These students must complete courses to satisfy professional licensing requirements. Our customers work (or seek to begin work) in real estate, mortgage, insurance, and legal professions.

Classes and examinations are held throughout the Chicagoland area and this position will be required to travel 100% of the time. Hours vary by week; most weeks require 5 – 25 hours of work. Your schedule will be set months in advance, but in the unusual circumstance that an unexpected scheduling issue may arise, you may be called upon to see if you can fill in.

During class, there will be some downtime when you can read, study or use your time in other ways while remaining available to our students. As such, this position may be ideal for a partially or fully retired person or college student attending nighttime or online classes.

Instructional Designer and LMS Administrator
(Part Time Position)

Real Estate Institute (REI) seeks a part-time, temporary Instructional Designer and Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to provide temporary support for all aspects related to the company’s delivery of professional online courses. Courses are developed and delivered to students who must complete education to satisfy professional licensing requirements. Our customers work (or seek to begin work) in real estate, mortgage, insurance, and legal professions.

The Instructional Designer/LMS Administrator will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Manage/Assist in the instructional design, development, implementation, and maintenance of company-wide online learning initiatives.
  • Provide LMS, webinar and eLearning support to ensure highest level of service to students.
  • Maintain and organize all documents, videos, images and other course content and resource material used in the development of courseware in a centralized location.
