State Requirement

Illinois resident insurance producers are required to complete 24 credit hours of continuing education during each 2-year license renewal period. Of those 24 hours, 21 hours may be completed via self-study courses. The remaining three hours must consist of either an ethics webinar or an in-person ethics class.

    Life insurance concepts.
    Property and casualty insurance principles.
    Health savings accounts and high-deductible health plans.
    Employment practices liability insurance.
  • Insurance regulatory issues.
