Course Details

Unless in their first renewal cycle, all Sales Associates and Brokers in Florida must complete 3 hours of Ethical Practice education as part of the 14-hour continuing education requirement. You can satisfy this requirement from anywhere at any time with Online Distance Education. 

This course:

  • Gives you easy access to online education to complete the courses for your requirement
  • Helps you understand how to prevent legal violations and reduce potential exposure to liability
  • Satisfies the 3-Hour Ethics CE curriculum requirement for all renewing Florida real estate licensees

Topics in this course include: 

  • Define business ethics and its importance in the workplace.
  • Describe the purpose and importance of the Preamble for the Code of Ethics
  • Summarize the role, general structure, and organization of the REALTOR®️ Code of Ethics.
  • Explain the duties a REALTOR®️ owes to their clients, customers, the public, and other REALTORS®️.
  • Value these ethical standards, which support continued growth as a licensed professional.
  • Summarize Code of Ethics enforcement and penalties for violating the Code of Ethics.

After completing this course, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion and the corresponding course credit will be reported to the state.

  1. You will receive your username and password upon enrollment to access the online courses.
  2. To renew your Broker license in Florida, you must complete 14 credit hours of continuing education. Please consider our 14-Hour CE Package, which includes your entire requirement.
