All residential leasing agent licensees must work under the supervision of a managing broker. The state requires that you:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age
  2. Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  3. Complete a 15 credit-hour residential leasing agent pre-license course
  4. Pass a state exam
  5. Select a sponsoring managing broker or firm
